Caitlin Beam, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

Caitlin Beam, PT, DPT is a pediatric Physical Therapist at the Center for Pediatric Therapies in Danville, Virginia. She joined the team at CPT in September 2016.

Caitlin’s clinical interests include working with children diagnosed with autism and those with prosthetic limbs. She says her favorite part of being a pediatric PT is watching the progress children make during therapy and how that affects them and their families.

Caitlin previously worked in Pennsylvania at the NHS Stepping Stones Plus,  a social skills program for children 3-18 diagnosed with autism. She completed a clinical rotation Wheeling Hospital Center for Pediatric Rehabilitation Services.  

Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia.  As an undergraduate, Caitlin played Division II Golf. She was also a member of the Campus Ministry Choir and a member of the International Honor Society in Psychology. During graduate school, she served as Treasurer of Physical Therapy Club. 

Caitlin is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy.

When not working, Caitlin likes to play golf, tennis or soccer, watch Steelers football, and hang out with her dog.
