Elizabeth Jackson PT, DPT, is a physical therapist at the Center for Pediatric Therapies in Danville and Martinsville, VA. Elizabeth provides physical therapy to children from birth to 21 years old in the home and our outpatient clinic.
Elizabeth is licensed by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of North Georgia. While studying at The University of North Georgia, Elizabeth volunteered with the Gold Dust Riders Hippotherapy Camp, providing hippotherapy for children and adolescence in the North Georgia area. She also participated in Russell’s Racers. Russell’s racers is an organization dedicated to helping those with disabilities participate in community races by providing assistance with wheelchairs and walkers.
Elizabeth has experience working in the outpatient pediatric clinical, aquatic, and hippotherapy settings with children of all ages. She has special interests in aquatic and hippotherapy. Elizabeth strives to provide children with as much independence as possible and assisting the family in making adjustments needed to reach their goals.
When she is not working at CPT, Elizabeth loves running, cooking, and craft projects.
