Denise R. Sabo, MS, CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist

Denise R. Sabo, MS, CCC-SLP is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist at the Center for Pediatric Therapies in Martinsville, Virginia. Denise joined the team at CPT in January 2017.

Denise earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s Degree from Southern Illinois University. While a student, Denise participated in synchronized swimming and was a member of Gamma Phi Beta social sorority.

Denise started her career working for numerous Home Health Agencies in Delaware and Pennsylvania providing speech therapy for both adult and birth to five populations. After moving to North Carolina, she worked for Guilford County Schools on a transition team determining eligibility for school therapy services.

Denise is a certified Early Intervention provider and has been trained in Play Based Assessments. Denise enjoys all aspects of speech therapy but most enjoys working with children with Apraxia. She loves seeing the progress children make in therapy.

Denise is an active member of North Carolina Speech and Hearing Association and the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Outside of work, Denise enjoys walking with her two dogs, traveling and gardening.
